
Jeff Beeler
The CEO of JB Safety & Rescue Services is Jeff Beeler. Beeler is a retired Captain from the La Mesa Fire Department located in San Diego County, California. With over 32 years of emergency response service, he was responsible for supervising fire-ground incidents, EMS, rescue, hazardous material and other emergency activities, as well, as coordinating the confined space and rescue programs.
Beeler founded JB Safety & Rescue Services as a company to provide safety & rescue training, confined space management, stand-by rescue and hazardous site management.
JB Safety & Rescue Services has provided stand-by rescue and confined space management services for companies such as Intel, Arizona Grain, CalTrans, JR Filanc, Kiewit Pacific and the Central Arizona Project. Beeler himself has provided safety & rescue training for companies such as the U.S. Coast Guard, California Department of Water Resources, Kimberly-Clark, Del Monte, Kraft Foods, Cargill Ag, and many more.
From 1995 to 2007, Jeff Beeler has been active with FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Association) as a Rescue Team Manager on a San Diego based Urban Search and Rescue Team. He was involved with the World Trade Center disaster search and rescue effort in 2001, floods in Northern California in 1997 and Hurricane Rita in 2005. He was also involved in the California Office of Emergency Services “Water Rescue Team” as a Rescue Specialist for many years.
Beeler is heavily involved in the fields of safety and rescue. His training has represented a number of organizations including Safety-OnSite, Inc., D-2000 Safety Solutions, Pacific Safety Council, O.S.H.A. Training Institute, JoshuaCasey, SafeCon, EMP Canada and others. His subjects include Disaster Site Worker, Confined Space, Hazardous Materials, Trench/Excavation, Fall Protection and various rescue subjects. He is currently the department chair for Hazardous Materials & Confined Space training at the O.S.H.A. Training Institute through U.C.S.D.
