Disaster Preparedness - Terrorism and/or Natural Disaster
As a result of 9-11 we have become more aware of the need to be prepared for emergencies in our work place. Businesses and the lives of employees can be severely disrupted due to a disaster. A business should be prepared to for these major events by setting up a business continuity plan, preparing emergency response plans, training employees in first aid/CPR, rescue, etc., preparing emergency supplies such as food, water, medical equipment and lighting. This course can take on many forms to respond to the needs of the audience. We can train for hazardous materials/weapons of mass destruction, business disaster preparedness, business emergency response or even CERT (Citizens Emergency Response Team).
